The Economic Times ACETECH exhibition, dedicated solely to the construction industry, has begun with its flagship event in Mumbai spread out over 500,000 sq. ft. The exhibition, which was launched on November 5, goes on till November 8, 2009. It further covers the entire southern region with a show in Bangalore (November 27-28-28, 2009) with displays covering over 250,000 sq. ft. and culminates in New Delhi (December 11-12-13, 2009).

The largest exhibition in the country ever held on building materials, architecture, construction, design and engineering is a platform for the industry's stake holders to highlight their equipment, products, services, innovations and technologies.

The exhibition has the largest array in the country on design products, construction technologies and architectural innovations.

There are 18 segments incorporating a wide range of products. These include bath and sanitation, stones and ceramics, kitchen technologies, lighting, paints and coats, air- conditioning and refrigeration, electricals, wires and cables and water technologies.

Other categories are hardware and fittings, elevators and escalators, steel and concrete, doors and windows, and fire, safety and security among other things. The comprehensive event also has participation from players in the wood and veneer industry, roofings, claddings and facades, plumbing, pipes and fittings, glass, glazing and facades and international furniture.

Since everything is organised under a single roof, potential clients can easily compare and experience different products, technologies, rates, quality and services of display, thus saving considerable time, money and effort.
